Bathroom & Shower Tile
Waterproofed wet area tile for bathrooms in Littleton, Centennial, and Columbine.
The Waterproofing Is Not Optional
Bathroom tile installations fail when the waterproofing is skipped or done poorly. Water finds its way through grout joints and into the wall assembly over time. Once moisture reaches the drywall or the wood framing behind a shower, you are looking at mold, rot, and an expensive tear-out. The tile itself is not what keeps water out. The membrane behind it is.
We apply a waterproofing membrane on every shower and tub surround we install. We use Schluter Kerdi sheet membrane bonded to cement board, RedGard liquid waterproofing on concrete board, or Wedi board for the entire wet zone depending on the wall assembly. The choice depends on the existing substrate and the project conditions. All three are code-compliant and industry-standard. We do not use drywall in wet areas.
After waterproofing, the tile installation itself covers the full range of bathroom surfaces: shower walls, shower floors, tub surrounds, tub decks, bathroom floors, vanity backsplashes, and niche shelving. We set recessed niches in the waterproofed plane so they do not compromise the membrane.

Bathroom Tile in Our Service Area
We handle bathroom and shower tile projects in Littleton, Centennial, and Columbine. Bathrooms in Columbine's older ranch homes often have cast iron tub surrounds and outdated fiberglass enclosures that we remove and replace entirely. Newer homes in Centennial typically have larger primary bathrooms with more complex shower configurations. We approach each one based on what we find, not a standard script.
